After the posting of my words yesterday, I woke up to my first ever troll on here! 🤓💋 thanks hun, it really made me feel even more passionate about speaking up for these subjects. Today I learn even more facts about this bill: women under 20 could be denied the right to abortion because they are not classed as An “adult” until 20. Unlucky for the people in the beehive because WE are fu***ng educated, we are outspoken and WE care. PLEASE take 5 minutes to respond to this bill, I will put the link in my bio. This is a call out to everyone who believes in the freedom of speech, the freedom to choose autonomy over your own body, and the freedom to express ourselves and be safe in our day to day lives. This vile lot at the beehive have decided to allow a bill into existence which directly puts into law the definition of male / female. As a CIS woman and drag artist, I am absolutely appalled by this, and want everyone to know that I stand firmly with all trans / NB / intersex and beyond because being human is not defined by a fu***ng legislation. We must band together, everyday. We must speak out when we hear bigoted commentary from our peers. I feel extremely passionate about this topic. I am not trying to make my voice louder, I want everyone to do the same. We must stand up for the rights of people we care for, and for even the people we don’t know! Make your submissions - you don’t even have to write a massive paragraph / literally put I do not agree with this bill. You can make a recommendation to ban LOBBYING in parliament as well. The first Resonance was so good and I am so excited to see where that project leads! Here’s a clip of absolute grandma antics during my set with on vocals dressed as a misfit from jem and the holograms and doing a grandma on acid burlesque moment. always provides the perfect platform for us to be as weird and creative and hilarious as we want. 🪩🖤🐎I am SO excited to let you know my set from is now available to listen back and relive the wild times we had! This show was so dear to my heart, and I just felt in my ZONE on this stage - no f***s we’re given, the most embodied confident person I have ever felt on stage. Wearing literal ni**le pasties with tape over, reading my poetry and SINGING at the end….. it was all because of crew who put on such an amazing set up for us that weekend, the crowd who were just so LOVELY and most importantly the team of performers who just SLAYED that stage from start to finish - thank you for bringing your incredible creative ideas, and performances to life - wow what a collaboration. Shout out to massive aroha to you all! 🙏🪩🖤 how lucky are we! X

Something super special happened during my set .world NITT this year ! I played the Sunday night - it was cold, people were clothed and tired by this point - it felt like a crew party and honestly I love playing for this crowd energy. Joined by with some beautiful burlesque hoop action! As I was playing some lovey dovey deep house, a couple got engaged! What an honour that they did so during my set, I wanted to make the crowd feel loved up but that takes the biscuit! To the people who show up even when they’re tired. To every artist who has paved the way for people like me to own a stage. To every person who believes that we can make this world a better place.
