💥We’ve been giving the shop a bit of a shake-up to create a space that properly represents what we’re passionate about…. which of course is NZ-made, independent, handcrafted goods and the people behind them.

💥 Citizen Republic Citizen Republic has grown into a really good crew of NZ makers and small brands, and I want to start showing you more of them……what they make, why we love them and the people behind the products.

💥 So you’ll be seeing a bit more of me on here, talking about the shop, our makers, our products and probably a few things that don’t go quite to plan along the way. 😂

This is just a little introduction to what’s coming.

It’s taking shape bit by bit, and we’re learning so much about the people, stories and craftsmanship behind every product that finds its way onto our shelves.

Mike Hook of ‘Grandad’s Shed’ has been a very busy man recently!

As you can see from these images he has produced some really ‘sharp work’ (excuse the pun), with some great-looking & of course highly functional knives and seriously impressive leather sheaths.

These have been very popular in store as gifts for milestone birthdays for the hunters, gatherers & chefs amongst us🔪🐗👨‍🍳
