The bush, the impressive scenery of Milford, the fishing boats and hunting's spots were his playground since a really young age. This is where he found his happy and relaxing space, his escape and his own wee world. Adam always loved creating, building and seeing things taking shape and coming to life. He's been soon inspired by renowned artists depicting this world of his. He picked up some brush
es in 2001 and found the same escape, joy and relaxation effects that he has in the bush or on a boat. Painting is now his personal way to shut off from the world, reconnect with himself and be in the moment. After working on landscapes, learning techniques and getting the feel for paints and brushes, he came to his own personal craft through portraits and figures. He found more possibilities of shapes and colours in it but also a way to deeply express himself, his feelings and emotions. From a leisure and relaxing activity, Adam is now putting his whole heart on canvas. Growing up in a female world with his mum and five sisters, painting women's body is his way to show respect to the human being within them, in person and in pictures. The female body is for him a gorgeous piece of art in itself. But beyond appearances, everyone is carrying something: feelings, emotions, struggles, hurts, pain, joy, achievements, life, stories... We are all human after all. Through his own joyful, kind but also highly emotional character, Adam pay tributes to all these women by bringing light from the darkness.
