This mornings life drawing class, our new term has begun! Come on down to join us, we have a new model. $15 per session of 2 1/2 hrs with a short break for tea and bickies!

OAMARU LIFE DRAWING GROUP

'Lady Sophronia's Sketching Soiree'

was held on Sat 24th March at 'The Grainstore Gallery' Harbour St Oamaru

a sketching night for all abilities where the artists sketched models dressed in Burlesque/ Victorian costume. The group was taken through a series of quick warm up exercises and then onto longer poses as the night progressed.

all materials were provided as was supper and drinks.

a great atmosphere was created with art music and theater.

it was a very successful night and we plan to hold another as soon as we have have caught our breath!

the Oamaru Life Drawing Group meets at ' The Jae Bedford School of Music and Performing Arts' Itchen St one week, and alternately meets the following week at 'The Collective Cafe'.

Tickets ($25) are available from 'CRAFTED' 3 Harbour ST Open daily 10AM to 4:30PM

Suitable for beginners and experienced artists!
Drawing materials provided or you can bring your own, there are limited easels available!

Doors open at 6:30PM for drinks and nibbles and to set up your easel

Drawing begins at 7pm and finishes at 10PM

Fancy dress optional!
