What is the meaning behind the Hui Tau tohu?

The poutama (or stepped pattern) is climbing upwards and towards the heavens.

The ascending stairs also resemble the Hamilton New Zealand New Zealand Temple in its external appearance.

Beneath the tapatoru you will see twelve smaller triangles at the base feeding into the steps. They represent the 12 tribes of Israel as they are gathered and are gathering.

To the right of the poutama, inside the steps you will see small darts also ascending. These represent our tipuna who are on the other side of the veil, but still progressing, and represent the call to gather Israel on both sides of the veil.

Our term “Manawa Whakahuri” is the embodiment of the turning of hearts, as we come together at the Hui Tau event, as Malachi prophesied “our hearts will turn to our fathers”, and the Lord.

Kaikohekohe refers directly to where the Hui Tau was held in 2021.

We hope you will enjoy wearing the Hui Tau Tees tohu, and hope you will enjoy sharing with others what it means too.

Due to high (super high) demand at the event - we have decided to do an additional 100 print run (we have presold over half of that number at the market).

This will be the last ever and there are only about 50 spaces left in the limited run.
