Dj Migz grew up in the musical melting pot that is London. A childhood of Pop, Breakdance Electro, Reggae and Soul was followed by Acid House parties, raves and nightclubbing. It all comes together on the decks where he takes you on a journey through Garage, Tech House, Breakbeat and Drum n bass - keeping it in the London Stylee and always bringing the phatest beats! It's time to have fun and get down and dirty! Bring it…and then leave it on the dancefloor…

Missthankyou: 10:30pm – 11:30pm
Missthankyou was raised in Taranaki but birthed her affection for mixing in Pōneke Wellingtons multifarious rave scene. During her time there she explored obscure sounds of silky trance and radiant hardcore, and progressed the practise. Now since recently returned Missthankyou will play her first hometown set. Bringing it full-circle back to her roots ready to anchor warmth and serve her unique, vibrant soundscape.

Lioness: 7:00pm-8:45pm
Cutting her teeth as a DJ in the local ecstatic/somatic dance scene, Lioness is evolving into a dynamic presence behind the decks. Known for her “mixed bag of lollies, with a bit of a bite,” her sets blend genres with a fusion of sounds like electro, house, to drum and bass with a sprinkle of nostalgic classics. Usually seen tearing up the dance floor herself, Lioness is growing into her name with a fearless fusion of sounds delivering energetic, genre-bending sets that keep the crowd moving and always guessing. Lioness sets are an unpredictable journey—energetic, groovy to get the dance floor moving. Whether it’s bold basslines or the infectious bounce of house, Lioness creates a playful dancefloor experience, always ready to surprise the crowd. With a couple of Conscious festivals, underground & private gigs under her mane, she is excited to play alongside other dance floor creators at Subalicious - and of course to dancing with new friends on the night!

On May 16th for Subliscious Roots we invite in the Root Chakra essence (Muladraha), of the colour Red (and adjacent colours;) and associated with the Earth element: grounding, safety and stability. Muladraha brings out of the shadows: fear, instability and disconnection from body and home.
