Here we have 5 Taonga made for 5 young tamariki, on there life journey. Only 10yrs of age, but yet have created strong bonds and memories of brotherhood, as one of the boys is moving with his whanau overseas. The mums thought it would be an awesome idea to create these boys five Taonga’s from the same piece of pounamu. kia kaha my lil bros, stand strong and enjoy life’s journey🤙😎🤙😎🤙

Gifted my good mate and his wife these Taonga on their wedding day. The Niho shape is like a shark or whale tooh symbolizeing strength,
leadership, protection, and resilience. Also with a Koru carved into them, this symbolises an unfurling fern frond, full of new life and fresh beginnings. Being open to infinite possibilities. And when place together forming a love heart. The 8 notches on the side symbolising there whānau.
