I had the most amazing time at DIY Burleskiwi Saturday night, it is an amazing event that I highly recommend to everyone.
Thank you so much to the Pinot Sistes Debbie Twinkle and Constance Craving for producing not only DIY Burleskiwi but also the fabulous Twirlie Awards which took place the following day.
I was so incredibly humbled and amazed to be awarded the Spirit of DIY 2026, which was voted by the cast and crew on the night. Community connection is something I really value, and try to nurture whereever possible and I was surrounded by not only a superbly talented, but also incredible kind, inclusive, caring and supportive bunch of humans backstage who were so welcoming to me and everyone else as well.
Thank you so much to everyone involved in DIY Burleskiwi 2026 the producers, cast, crew, judges and amazing audience for making the experience of DIY Burleskiwi such an amazing one.
