Now that some time has past here’s a little recap of how our 2026 season went.
This season the Alterd was shared between Nic and Larissa. Nic ran in supercharged outlaws in the national meetings and Larissa ran the car in our local competition series. End of last season the decision was made by Larissa that she wanted to give this Alterd thing a go and she went out a bought her own race gear, sat her licence in last years end of season fun day and that was it !
Larissa’s first appearance was at comp 2 and the whole team was nervous and excited at the same time to see how she would go. We buckled her in the car and sent her out on track and bu**er me it has seemed like she had been in the car for years! We walked away from her first comp meet ever with a #1 trophy 🏆 and later on came back in comp meet 5 and secured yet another #1 trophy which landed her Second in the points series for the comp class and Rookie of the year. Very successful first season !
Nic jumped in the car a couple times this season to race in Supercharged outlaws at the Wellington Invasion and the NZ nationals were he won both of those meetings which landed him first place in the national series
Gary also jumped into the car for the Nostalgia drags which he played around with the nitrous and went through the rounds to walk away with a #1 trophy 🏆 ! Gary has also decided to go full time on his Harley Davidson next season in Screaming Eagles after a comp meeting racing his bike
