Bit of recap before we head into Wellington invasion !

End of last season we started on our journey to put Nic’s partner Larissa in the alterd and see how she goes. Did a few skids at Friday night days and did a couple private meetings and then sat her Comp licence at the end of year fun day. The 2025/2026 season came around the nerves were very high and took a bit of convincing to get her back into the car. Comp meet 2 Larissa jumped back into the car and absolutely kicked ass to say the least ! She worked her way through the rounds with .0** reaction times and almost bang on her dial in every run. Nic’s first ever meeting in the Alterd a few years back he won the competition class and Larissa has just done the same ! Her first competition win and a very happy girl to say the least

Maybe it’s time to introduce her to some Nitrous and spice the car up 👀😂

Wellington invasion wrap up. What a long day it was we had a fair share of little issues going on with both cars but at the end of the day it was a great success ! First of all Dutchies car is heading in the right direction since we did a few little upgrades to the car and is looking promising for that 6 run, unfortunately on our second run with the car a little pressed in fitting from the trans oil cooler let go and put oil everywhere, we’ve got a bit of a clean up to do and give everything a once over but still very happy with the 7.2 ! The Alterd ran like it always does with a little shot of nos and ran the best of a 7.47 , Nic ended up going through the rounds and taking home the #1 trophy in supercharged outlaws , Big thanks to everyone who came down and supported and gave a helping hand Ben Barclay Ashleigh Barclay Larissa Came and also big thanks to our sponsors PPG New Zealand and Repco Pukekohe

Well, time for a season wrap up, we raced the Altered 8 times this season, came alway with 6 wins, won the NAPA comp series for the fourth year in a row and Top Drag Racer for 3 of them, Runner up in the NDRC series in Super Charged Outlaws. Gary won at the Nostalgia’s with a 0.000 light. Nic drove like a champ that he is at the other 7 meetings. The Altered didn’t miss a beat all season, first season back on the NOS, ending up with a 7.40 @ 176mph. Still plenty left in it, Hurry Slowly is the motto at the moment. We got Dutches Falcon out to fulfil Dutchies dream, got very close, so some unfinished business. We would like to thank all the track staff, fellow competitors, crew Ben, Ash, Larissa, Gavin and Colin, big thanks to our sponsors Repco Pukekohe and PPG. 5 months and we will do it again. Never know we might get the new car out before the end of the season if we get it finished 💪🏻🥂👍🏻👌🏻

Nostalgia Drags wrap up, Bloody good day, it was the old fella’s turn for a drive😂 Qualified number 1 with a 7.40 which gave me a bye in the first round, second round the other lane red lit, another easy win, won the semifinal and into the finals, left the best for last, 0.000 (not bad for an old fella) light for the win, thanks to the crew Nic Ash Ben, thanks to Repco Pukekohe for your continued support, Bay Rodders for the event, the photographers and last and not least the Blue Shirt legends 👍🏻💪🏻🧡
