Truly a unique live experience, Fletchy Boy breathes sparkling life into addictive house grooves. Turning a left-to-right bopper into a full-blown stomper with his butter-smooth live blends and soul-tickling vocals. No amount of imaginative adjectives could quite accurately describe it, so I’ll give it a rest there.

Perhaps the coolest part is that there genuinely is no other performer whose art has the same genesis as this. A Classical-Piano-trained Kiwi moving to Berlin to pursue a career in RnB, evolving his approach amidst the mythical electronic culture over there into something that is completely his own.

This set is already one of your favourites before it happened.

Her belief in us and in you to do right by the privilege is astounding. Her unique aroha is a gift to us all, and she inspires us every day.

Our very first crack at a party together - Matakana Meltdown!

We built one very DIY stage and invited 70 stoked mates for a one night bush doof

Check out the gazebo crudely plopped over the DJ booth - this was after the speakers ran scratchy static for 20 minutes during a set… eek

Naturally, we decided let’s go straight to a three day New Year’s festival 8 months later. Matakanarama 1 was born…

Three nights & 350 people invited through a private instagram page!

What could go wrong?…surprisingly not much, it was all-round bliss and had us psyched for what’s next!

Then one year later came Matakanarama 2 - open to 1500 punters, expanding over 3 neighbouring properties

Birthing the debut of the much-loved Kawakawa Club stage - a hand-built masterpiece in a cosy clearing

It proved to be a cauldron for new friendships from all across NZ and beyond, soundtracked by some serious talent…

And now we’re less than 20 weeks away from Rama 3, the next evolution will be our greatest leap yet!

Many surprises will be awaiting you on site :p

Perhaps the hottest thing in the world of hybrid electronic-live performers, DOCJOC is now well established as a must-see act in Aotearoa.

Ripping an unforgettable collab with Young Gho$t on the 30th at Rama last year, he’s earned himself one of the most coveted slots a New Year’s festival can offer for 2026.

We’ll bear witness to a new version of the act exploring new boundaries of the concept - developed specifically for the hill. You just can’t miss this one, plain and simple.
