Hats in the wild with my walking buds Jettfield and Tam. We had the best walk today along the clifftop, through some magical gardens and I even picked up some free lemons. Everyone loves a bonus lemon 🍋, unless you have an ulcer, then not so much.

Squishy mail! These sweet lambswool slippers were delivered today. They are for one of my Mother and Daughter combos. The only problem... They are the same size and color. The solution? One pair has one red heart ♥️ on each slipper the other has two ♥️♥️

I had to play yarn chicken with this pair of slippers. I thought I had enough wool, but ran out on the final rows. Thank goodness for my yarn stash. I found a very special ball of scrap wool that has a family link to the new slipper owner (I can't say how as they are a gift, but the new owner will be chuffed). Here's to cozy toes.

Every year I make a pair of slippers for a clients Dad. This pair was pretty special. I used 5 strands or vintage wool (from the 80s) to make the warmest thickest smooshiest pair yet. The yarn was from a yarn stash of a local lady called Melissa, and I like to think she would be so happy the yarn has gone to such a special project.

Does anyone else take photos of knitted hats from a movie? I watched A Merry Little Ex-Mas on Netflix last night and got allll excited about the knitwear. How do we feel about these hats? And props to the pompom in the middle - it has the Flouf!
