Te Rā o te Raukura is the premier cultural experience on the Wellington calendar and celebrates a strong community spirit at its best. Featuring a whole array of arts and crafts, health and education exhibitions, live bands, cultural and dance groups, amusements rides as well as a huge range of food stalls for the whole whānau, this is an event not to be missed. In previous year's, Te Rā o te Rauk

ura has attracted up to 20,000 people at a time and we anticipate much of the same next February

Applications for stall bookings are now being taken, register now by emailing [email protected]

All proceeds from stalls registrations are donated to Te Omanga Hospice

We have a jam-packed day full of fun activities to do and see (and eat), so come on down this Saturday to catch all the fun and the raumati vibes!

There is on-site parking available for $5, with first in first serve, so get in early to secure your spot.

This map is available on our Linktree at any point for you to look at and share with youir whānau and friends who will be coming. QR codes will be all around the area for you to scan if you need to find your way around, or simply save the link here:

With Te Rā o Te Raukura just a few days away (and sunny weather forcasted) we now have our Kapa Haka performance schedule!

Come on down and watch some awesome Kapa Haka from all around the region showcase some awesome waiata and haka as we celebrate what Te Whanganui a Tara has to offer.

There is also plenty to do while you are here, including eating yummy local kai, discovering community health, social, education and cultural services and much more!
