I would like to do a massive thankyou to everyone who stopped by and said high some of you left with a smile some of you left with a bag of Willie goodness. I would like to thank you all for your support and compliments. WoolFeast Christchurch team you have done it again another brilliant event.

I also want to say a amazing thanks to my 2 special helpers thanks so much for helping set up and helping on eftpos pip and g ypu both did a great job. And earned your tech time. Now yo get my spin on once the 3 orders are finished. Watch this space kids and i will be dying wool in 3 weeks time. New colors and more fun.

One of my beautiful customers that I spun wool for, has been extremely busy knitting these jersey. Permission has been given for the photos to be used. This was her fibre that was washed and cardered at tai tapu carders then given to me to spin. And some of my spun wool that I had done.

As you all know I support local and with the purchase of super granny there's a massive difference in her ability.

Ashford Wheels & Looms / Ashford Store have a wide range of product and to show you what I mean this is the difference in size bobbins that I use. Supper granny is able to take almost a kg of fibre where my e3 my main wheel for all my orders takes a 250 to 300 gram Bobbin. As you can see there's a massive difference in size and what is possible (2 yr old for some comparison).

Who's coming the count down is on. My children are excited to be helping me this yr and have been busy dye wool and now they get to help sell. They will both be helping and explaining thier knowledge on wool and their sheep. They both enjoy everything from training pet lambs to dying and selling wool. Pop in and see us and the have fun they have had creating some beautiful color mixes.

Well my wheels have grown all get used atleaset once a week. I have tried so many different wheels but I have found for the amount of wool I spin and the quality needed from construction of the wheels the Ashford Wheels & Looms wheels are definitely made to a high standard. I absolutely thrash my wheels they get dragged to events to do demonstrations they get bounced around in the mobile shop and in the cab of the ute then get used by ages 1 to 100 as I let everyone gave a go that keen to try. And they spin literally tones of wool. The service and knowledge from the team at Ashfords is amazing I haven't ever had a issue with getting parts or wheels fixed especially my e spinners as they are used the most. So if your looking to buy a quality will last the miles wheel I highly recommend the Ashford range. They have something for ever spinner and space.

Well ive been a bit busy working on the trailer building up stock and setting goals for the year. So 3 massive goals. one is to get trailer painted and advertise on it, 2nd to get to the southern feild days in March 2027. Along with all the a&p shows i used to do and more. 3rd goal is to invest in a small commercial style machine to help with production and return times.
