The energy you can expect from my set is one of lush liquid soul with a blend of soaring vocals and funky instrumentals.

Favourite item on the galaxy menu, has to be the Mac n cheese, if you haven’t tried it yet your missing out 🤭

Give us one track that’s currently doing serious damage on your playlists?

One track that’s seen a few cycles on the playlist recently has to be “love conspiration” by visages 🔥

Can you tell me what Vibez means to you?

The Vibez crew have gone from friends to family, and every time we get together it’s a night of smiles, laughter and seriously good music. Love to each and every one of them!

What kind of energy can we look forward to from your Vibez set?

I’ve found spinning dubstep to be such a wide creative outlet, as you can just go anywhere at anytime, so expect the unexpected on this journey.

Whats your favourite item on the menu at Galaxy Bar?

It’s hard to go past a Mac & Cheese takeaway at the end of the night, don’t tell my dietitian.

Give us one track that’s currently doing serious damage on your playlists?

Pulled out a classic the other day simply for nostalgia, the Breakage remix of Dog Days Are Over by Florence and the Machine.

How did you first get into DJing, and what got you hooked?
I first properly got into DJing while living in Osaka Japan. Myself and another Kiwi started running events so that we could bring the Upbeats over. We ended up bringing them 3 times among a long list of other internationals.

How would you describe your sound/style? I like to mix the old and the new. Big fan of hectic drums. I love a long blend, taking my time to move through sounds. I never know what I’m going to play until I plug in. Instead I read the room and move with the crowd.

Who is your fav Dj or a producer? Big fan of Marky, Makoto, Skeptical, Calibre so many!

What’s a track you’re loving or playing a lot right now?
Stunted by Calibre tools so good!

What’s been your favourite DJ/gig moment so far?
Support for the upbeats at Hide was such a blast! Also the Bug Ol Bush Doof in Glenorchy with my brother Tamati

How did you first get into DJing, and what got you hooked?

I was dairy farming in a rural area and getting a bit bored. My mate on the farm had a controller, and one night he offered to let me borrow it. As soon as I hooked it up and started mucking around, I was hook, line and sinker 🎣

How would you describe your sound/style?

My t is stacked with all subgenres of DnB, but I’d say my ragga/jungle sets are my favourite to play out, by far.

Who is your favourite DJ or producer?

Crossy would be one of my favourite DJs and producers. I’m gonna sneak Born On Road in there too, as my equal favourite label for mixing, production and the releases they put out 👌😜

What’s a track you’re loving or playing a lot right now?

Nasser & Addicted ft. Killa P – Tek (Jappa Remix)

What’s been your favourite DJ/gig moment so far?

I’d have to say one of the many doofs I’ve organised, where I get to see everyone living the vibes and having the best time! Those are by far the best moments for me to look back on.

What can we expect from your Vibez set?

High-energy ragga mixed with some jungle and a giant bag of blends 🤌🔥
