Beautiful weather for our second day of Matariki at Norman Kirk Park! Come down for the free facepainting from 4pm, the carnival, food trucks and market stalls - and don't forget the FIREWORKS mini show from 7pm. Kaiapoi Lights is also running tonight so get your tickets for that - just a 3 minute walk from Matariki!

There will be special lighting displays and projections that will turn the park and path into a beautiful wonderland for people of all ages to visit and enjoy!

BIG announcement for Saturday! Plus a COMPETITION!!!
If you thought you missed out on Friday fireworks - well we are doing a mini fireworks display on Saturday as well! To banish the terrible weather we have had this week!
So head to Norman Kirk Park, 12pm-9pm Saturday night (11th July) and be entertained, food trucks, market stalls, a full Carnival and now Fireworks! Even better we are offering a $100 voucher for food and rides - just tag in friends and whanau, "your shout", and go into the draw! Don't forget Kaiapoi Lights is still running Saturday night - so you can go and see the magical lights before or after the Saturday Night Matariki fun!

Tonight at Kaiapoi Lights is sold out - subject to the crowds we will do gate sales from 7.30pm, otherwise there are tickets still available for Saturday night - and remember you can go to Kaiapoi Lights on Saturday and come across to Norman Kirk afterwards for the second day of Matariki Kaiapoi - with live music, free face painting, performances and more!

Remember it's only a short walk to Matariki and Kaiapoi Lights from all around Kaiapoi! Park and Walk Zone!

Matariki Kaiapoi this Friday, 10th July, at Norman Kirk Park from 4pm-8pm. If you are attending remember that it is only a short 10minute walk to the event (including to Kaiapoi Lights ) from anywhere in this circle! The 10MINUTE WALK ZONE! It will be easier to find a park, and leave at the end of the night, if you park a little further out! Plus remember to be considerate and not park on grass verges! Thanks! 😀

Unfortunately due to the weather conditions, we have decided to cancel tonight's (Wednesday 8th July) Kaiapoi Lights.
