🏁 First practice done and dusted 🏁

Speedway season is officially underway and what a way to kick things off 🔥

The boys were on track at Ruapuna Speedway today for their first practice of the speedway season.
They both went super well, finding their feet, building confidence and improving with every lap 💪🏼

A great first outing and we are excited to see how they go for their next practice at Ellesmere speedway tomorrow. 🏎️💨

And while the boys have been getting their laps in at Ruapuna, Outlaw Sims is still open for business! 🏁

We’ve got bookings available this evening, so if watching the action gets you itching to turn some laps of your own, flick us a message and get behind the wheel!

Their support helps make all of this possible, and we are very grateful to have them along for the ride this season!

This month we are taking the Sprintcars to one of the most iconic dirt tracks in the world,
Williams Grove Speedway 🇺🇸🔥

Williams Grove is seriously fast, think drag strip long straights in a 900hp Sprintcar, then having to turn left at the end of it with entry speeds of 140mph, thats over 220kmph! 😳

And if that wasn’t cool enough, it is instantly recognisable for the bridge running over the back straight, theres nothing else quiet like a lap at the Grove!

As always, fastest lap of the month takes all 3 sims for 1 hour 🏆
But you absolutely don’t have to be the fastest to win, every single person who enters the October Challenge goes into the draw to win FREE sim time! 🎟️

Massive thanks to everyone who came in and had a crack throughout September, whether you were chasing P1, battling your mates or just getting your name on the board to go into the draw to win, we really appreciate it!

Brad & Craig, flick us a message to claim your prize of the full sim centre for an hour! 🎁

Unfortunately due to the weather, we have cancelled today's practice.

Although the rain has eased, the cloudy and cold forecast will likely mean the track just simply won't dry out in time.

Pre-Season Inspection. If you were booked in for this today, please contact one of our scrutineer team to make another time for this. There will be no inspections at the track today.

Our next and final practice is this Wednesday, October 7th. Scrutineering 4.30 - 6.30pm, Practice 7 - 9pm.

Race season is almost here... Are you ready?

There is only so much you can do in the shed before it is time to get behind the wheel! 👀
Whether you are a young driver building confidence, an experienced racer wanting to sharpen up before the season starts, or you just want to get that muscle memory switched back on, the sims are one hell of a training tool!

The amount of seat time you can pack into one session is pretty hard to beat...
🔥 1 hour on the sim = a minimum of 7 race meetings worth of green flag racing! 🔥

No waiting between races
No fuel costs
No new tyres every meeting
Most importantly, no crash damage bills 😅
Just lap after lap after lap.

Come in and put in some seat time, or book 1 on 1 driver training with Josh and work on race lines, throttle control, consistency, passing, starts and getting comfortable behind the wheel.

For the younger racers especially, it is a great way to build confidence and learn without the pressure of being out on track, but it is absolutely not just for the kids!

If you are racing this season, come and get the laps in before that first green flag drops! 🏁
