I’ve been having a lot of conversations lately about our highest self, and people keep asking me, “Ari, what do you actually mean by that?”
For me, my highest self is the version of me with no limitations. The part of me that feels the most comfortable in my own skin.
She looks like:
hair down in mermaid waves,
long floaty dresses or loose linen pants,
no bra, glowing skin.
That’s just the outside though.
What is she doing?
She’s creating.
She’s in balance and flow.
She’s barefoot on the earth or floating in the ocean.
And if I’m being really honest with myself…
how often do I actually do the things that align me with her?.....
She is love and boundaries.
Compassion and expansiveness.
Soft and nurturing, but a f**ken warrior when she needs to be.
My son calls me “the plant lady” (this is a story of its own 😅) and it’s not just because our house is overflowing with plants.
It’s because of all of this.
And you know what?
I’m proud to own that title or in his case… stereotype 😆
So I want to ask you this:
What does your highest self need more of today?
– rest
– movement
– truth
– nourishment
– boundaries
– play
And can you create the time and space
to let that happen… even in the smallest way today?
