Big mihi to our Brave Buskers who entertained hundreds over three days of shows - folk punk firebrand, Nakita Turner Low; sorceress of soul, Mon Shelford; heartfelt hometown heroine, Christina Gunson; alt-country iconoclast, Alec Withers; and blues master, Greg Conrad. We’re blown away by the breadth of singer songwriter talent on the local scene!

Massive mihi to the multitalented Machine Wreckers who brought their signature sound experience to the people and the streets in a stunning Carnival in the Park performance.

Machine Wreckers debuted at FitS 22 and have been a festival staple ever since, with individual members performing in various projects since the festival began.

We’re beyond grateful that these accomplished musicians choose to share their idiosyncratic brand of experiential anti-capitalist prog rock with our audiences.

Massive mihi to our small but mighty volunteer crew, the backbone of the festival!

We couldn’t have pulled it off without the generous efforts of Heloise and Otis on ticketing, Phill and G on the bar, Liam and Mark on tech, Simon, Derek and Liv capturing it all on film and Lee, Dorian, Ant, Sita, Kadin and Will filling in the millions of jobs large and small that make art happen. Love you all!!

Big mihi to our talented youth troops, Sita, Kadin and Will, who put in the mahi to make this year’s FitS a little more visually interesting.

Special mention to Sita for designing this year’s mascot and mural, hand stencilling our crew t-shirts, doing henna in the park and playing the Rat King for the Spooky Skeletons’ show. This wāhine is one to watch!
