I’ve always loved horses. Their presence, beauty, form, spirit, and that power! Their earthy smell. When I was growing up, they were a passion that I shared with my artist grandmother. She loved to paint them, and I still have a treasured hand-painted plate of galloping horses that she gave me for my 13th birthday.

A few more pics from the ANZAC Troopers over the weekend...I loved photographing them, and heading back on wednesday for their ride to Nireaha. Fingers crossed the weather is a little more on their side (..and mine! I'd dearly love a bit of sunshine 😉)
