Late Night Opening in Greytown tonight!

Used to remember each town had late night shopping (in the days when retail couldn’t open during weekends) something everyone looked forward to so close to Christmas.

Nowadays it’s a special occasion treat with Hall Concept Store, Cuckoo Pizza and our Greytown Art Gallery (there will be specials on certain artworks in the gallery with some of the artists continuing the sale for the weekend, so if you are in Greytown this weekend and have had your eye on a particular artwork, now is your chance to pop on by to snap it up, as it is a cash and carry event)

My contribution to the new group exhibition “From Aotearoa with Love,” at The Greytown Art Gallery, opening this Saturday. It will be a “soft opening,” so anyone who happens to be in Greytown on the day can call by to view the works. Each artist will have their contribution to the new exhibition in their individual areas, each art work is labeled with a “From Aotearoa with Love,” sticker.

Homage to Hammond is inspired by one of my favourite New Zealand artists, Bill Hammond and our shared interest in native birds, narrative art and Egyptian hieroglyphs
