Always good to work with a pen and paper. Good practice to use a pen to focus on slowly working and paying attention.....no way to erase. So concentrate, build up slowly.

This is Rapahoe, as viewed from the Point Elizabeth walkway.

Was walking there several months ago, and liked this particular viewpoint, so snapped a quick ph reference pic to play with at some stage.

A little pic for a young lady's 'housewarming' for her room.
Done quickly last week as was hoping to present it in person but winter conditions made the trip a bit tough in the car over an Alpine pass.

But hopefully a nice surprise for her.
We will call it 'Mice meeting' to avoid any possible lawsuits. And their names are Nicky and Mindy mouse.

Another week, another window display....!
In a strange sequence, theres been three window display things in two weeks....
So needed to summon the inner Bob Ross to get something done in a day due to only finding out on Friday afternoon its for next week!

But its a good way to get back into the habit and swing of things, a lot of fun to throw paint around in a hurry and instant enough to just paint on the fly.

Just bulking up the wording and that should do it!

I googled to make sure the right amount of stars are here....but a bit too scared to put the names beside in case I get it wrong!

But a nice message behind the public day so wanted to do something to get into the spirit of it :-)

Marathon paint session.
This is for a shop window for the next week, a Wonka theme in collaboration with the new library opening this Friday.

I wasnt sure if I was going to be able to do this following surgery so didn't sign up for it....but felt okay enough to get into the spirit so did it over a couple of days.

A bit of work for something I'll paint over in a week! But fun to add little Oompa Loompas in, a group doing 'YMCA' , A Wahs fan, a group protesting work and pay conditions down the back.

Hopefully will give a few a laugh!! :-)

My fellow Art brother David Stoupakis is need of raising funds ASAP in order to get their beloved cat emergency surgery.

David is an incredible artist, has done work for the likes of Korn album covers as well as his own jaw dropping work of a Gothic fairy tale style.

He is offering 50% off original paintings currently to raise funds. For his quality of work, often with crafted frames that are a work of art themselves. This is a steal.

Otherwise. Every bit helps. Prints are available, or even join his Patreon and make a wee donation would mean the world to them.

Appreciate any help that can be sent their way, they are lovely people as much as David is an amazing artist.

...yep, I went there. Ive stated it for all to see.

This was a really fun wee commercial art piece in Acrylics, for my hard core Wahs fan cousin's 50th.

A bit of an in joke with all of us Warriors fans, as well as a permanent reminder for the wall of Justin's man cave! Every year is 'our year.' But what if- it actually hits this year? This'll be the first souvenir to celebrate....and then the waiting list for the tattoo parlours will begin!! :-)
