Finally, our lead: Henry! Who is depicted by the amazing Robert Shand!

Siblings tend to exist in a dichotomy and on the opposite side of the spectrum, we find Adeline's older brother, Henry. Where she feels everything, he shuts it all out. He is headstrong and motivated and finds little time for indulging in his own emotions, but, they always catch up with you eventually. He's tried to ignore the happy memories with Adeline because to face them, means to face everything she has left behind after her death. When he realises he can't keep running away, will he be able to challenge the web of grief that threatens to hold him captive forever?

Adeline is a feeler, wearing her heart proudly on her sleeve. She also takes on projects with an all-or-nothing sense of motivation, which led her to her mother's old cottage. As she sweeps away the dust, she finds herself engulfed in an inescapable ocean of grief. As she uncovers new truths about her mother, she knows there's only one person she'd want to share that with...
Now that she's gone, all that's left are traces of her life, dotted around a — once again — dusty cottage. Can a soul find peace when there is none to be found?

Starting out with Brian, brought to life by the talented Daniel Cromar.

Brian doesn't give away much on the surface, presenting a mysterious facade intially but looks can be deceiving. This confrontational stranger is actually more than happy to help wherever he is needed. He's also great for lending an ear to the woes on your mind over a cup of tea. Though he listens, he doesn't always let others in on his own burdens that he carries close to his heart. What secrets lie beneath the surface, and what truths does he have to face?

Did you knows Adeline's Cottage and Pas De Trois are running on the same nights for the Dunedin Fringe Festival? That's right! You could watch Adeline's Cottage at 6pm, laugh, cry, reflect, and then return at 7:30pm to see Pas De Trois. Two beautiful student written shows - featuring, yes, you guessed it, letters!! - all in one magical night. See you at Allen Hall on the 19th, 20th and 21st of March.
