We value Inclusion, Curiosity, Adventure and Balance. Dance first began as a collective in 2013 and later formed as Trust in 2020. Dance provides Inclusive Dance for people with and without disabilities. Our classes focus on having fun, creative movement, improvisation, and choreography for people of all abilities. We have a range of volunteer roles for folk who wish to get more involved in the Tr

ust. Current teachers and choreographers are Jenny Newstead, Saira Lal, Hannah Rouse, Brittany Checkley, Lemon Hay and Hahna Briggs. Senior class (over 16 - 18 years and older): Mondays 6-7pm and 7.15pm - 8.15pm. Junior class (under 16 - 18 years and younger): Tuesday 4-5pm. We have received funding this year that will enable us to subsidize classes for dancers who are 18 years or younger. Where: The New Athenaeum Theatre, 23 The Octagon, Dunedin. Cost: $100 per term or $14 per class. Under 18's subsidized rate for 2025 is $50 per term. Classes suited for all levels and abilities. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring some water.
