LHS Performing Arts

We are delighted to invite you to three exciting Performing Arts productions this term, celebrating the incredible talents of our students.
First, on June 18th, we present the Year 12 Drama production of 'The Oddity'. This adventurous, game-show style performance dives into themes of greed and questions how far we go in pursuit of it. The show will be followed by 'Showcase' at 7 p.m., featuring a selection of our Year 9 to 11 performing arts students in an array of dance, drama, and group performances.
Then, on June 25th, the Year 13 Drama class will perform 'The Continuum Tales', a thought- provoking vignette style performance, exploring how individual choices ripple through time, shaping the past, present, and future. As this play is double cast, there will be two shows- one at 6 p.m. and another at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are just $5 and can be purchased via TryBooking or at the door (subject to availability). Refreshments will also be available for purchase.

Led by the dance leaders, Cartier and Hayley, our performance 'E Tū Tāngata' surrounds youth mental health and the importance of speaking up. Make sure to come along and support!
