Awesome day out at Hazard County to finish off the season!

We came home second in the Ellesmere Champs, congratulations to Fraser on this achievement!

Fraser had a few hairy moments and bouncing off the wall hard in turn 4 mid heat two but we switched out the wheel for the feature and crossed the final checkered flag of the season with another third.

Massive thanks to Ellesmere Motor Racing Club for putting up another brilliant track, you guys never fail to deliver!

After the season we’ve had, it’s so good to finish on a high!

Big thanks to everyone who helps us go racing!

We will now concentrate on the off season strip downs and rebuilds to come back stronger next season, possibly with an extra car or two!

Today we hit the clay oval for one last time for the Ellesmere Champs before we park the cars up for the off season.

We’ve decided we’re hitting the track for one last time!

This Saturday 25th April we hit up Ellesmere Motor Racing Club for one final meet before we give the cars some much needed maintenance!

We’ve had flips and fires our last two meets out at Hazard County so fingers crossed the “third time lucky” rule kicks in!

Last night we hit the track for our Lightning Sprint best pairs and our final meet for the 25/26 season.

Heat one started off P3 finished 5th
Heat two we DNF due to the chain snapping mid race.
We pulled the car back together for the feature taking our final checkered flag for the season in 8th.

Congratulations to Fraser for coming home 3rd overall in Best Pairs alongside Colin Cameron.

Huge thanks to Brad Hinton, Gary Fraser, Hayden Kedzlie & Quinton McKay for all their help getting the car back out for the feature, we couldn’t have done it without you all!

It’s been a tough season for the SRT team with flips, tumbles,fires and everything you could possibly imagine between but we have absolutely enjoyed ourselves nonetheless, once again we have been able to travel the South doing what we love while hanging out with some amazing people and making life long friends along the way.

Massive thanks to the Cornelius family for their ongoing support every season, you guys rock!!

To the behind the scenes team….

As always thank you to Shane for giving us the opportunity and helping in the pits while also holding the class down as rep - we truly appreciate you!

To our pit crew, Brian, Peter & Melzie for giving up most of your summer weekends to travel, turn spanners, keep cars clean and make sure we are buckled in safe, we couldn’t do any of this nor would we have a race season without you!

Our crew mum Krystle for once again holding down the fort with memorised race calendars, keeping our race gear checked, clean and fireproof and making sure we are all where we need to be.

KH fabrication ltd and Harris Signs & Graphix for keeping the cars looking amazing and keeping us safe on the track all season.

It’s race day and our final meet for the season!!

Tonight we hit the track at Ruapuna Speedway as a support class for the R & R Sprintcar Gold Cup + Graham Hill Roofing Gold Cup!

We are also running our Lightning Sprint best pairs to finish off the season.

What a difference a season makes!!

We have pulled every spare part we possibly can to get this car back on the track for tomorrow nights meeting!

Massive thanks to all our team for working tirelessly this past two weeks to get us out!

Also a huge thanks to Tyson from Rolleston Hydraulics and Servicing for the help and quick turn around on our replacement oil and fuel hoses after being wrecked in the fire last Sunday.

One more night to go!
