Address to be sent out on the day via email, this event is FREE and you MUST be 18 years or older so make sure you RSVP and make sure your friends do too as this is not an open event! As always, SKUB will provide snacks and non-alcoholic drinks, but feel free to BYO. Any house rules will be included in the Address email so please be respectful of our host/s and read through those on the day!

At Four til Six on the Eighteenth of March we wilt be making hennins and crowns to wear to the royal palace 🤴 Gather thy friends and take your carriage to the Guild of Arts and Crafts.

We touched grass… and drew it ☀️

Last week we set up in the SOFA courtyard, chasing the light and letting the afternoon unfold onto our pages. Shifting shadows, quiet corners, and sketchbooks filling up in real time.

Join SKUB for an afternoon of sketching and painting outdoors at the llam Gardens!

Some supplies will be available (limited), so feel free to bring your own brushes, sketchbook, paints, or whatever you’re working with.

It’s a relaxed, open session to make art, experiment, and hang out. An easy way to start the term and meet some new people - all levels welcome!

2025 is done and dusted 🎉

This year has been so much fun! We held 15 events throughout the year including (but not limited to) a few crafternoons, three thrilling party’s, three movie nights AND a film festival, and we even collaborated to hold the first ever Arts Ball which was a major success 🪩🕺

In 2025 we achieved so much and made so many great memories. Next year we will continue hosting fun, and educational, events that all of our SKUBlings will enjoy. We hope to see you again in 2026 🎨🧑‍🎨🎀

HUGE congratulations to our current and former skub presidents Rata and Ginnie for earning their UC Arts Tohu Kahurangi l Blues Awards!🏆💕

In their skub-tastic work in the arts while studying at Ilam, both Rata and Ginnie won Blues Awards for their Service to the Arts!! Ginnie was also awarded for her Outstanding Contributions the Arts!!!🤯

We couldn’t be more prouder of these two, not just as skub members, but also members of Christchurch and UC art communities!! 👏👏👏👏
