July the 17th we had a Royal Treatment special for Summerset Cavendish.

What a legendary bunch, the wonderful staff joined in and simply set the success of the afternoon. EVERY DAY IS A CORONATION DAY.... We ig- knighted King Ken and Queen Josie to CORONATION st ... Did you know that once King Charles once appeared on Coro??
We loved hearing some special stories about how talent shows were once shared with their children and how the music and skit reminded them all of that and their parents singing those very songs too.
Drums is on the list for next time, and we cant wait to see you all again soon.
Two x Louis, 2x come on Irlenes, Aileen, Jan and Pam, June, Jim, Kin, Princess Margaret's, Shirley, Navia, Precious Pauline, Barbara and Joan, Nick, Kate, Betty, Barry, Steve, just to name a few such precious possums all of you!
Thank you Meg and team for having the sweetest gals in town to turn your frowns around! It was fabulous 🤩

A Magical Monday to kick off the week at Radius St Allisa and our gorgeous residents who were ready for some Jive! 💃
A bit of the Twist, Mashed Potato and the Alligator took us back in time to the dance halls, when they were so popular they started the Hand Jive because they were so jammed in! This was great for our rhythm, pattern and motor skills and even the fab staff were all joining in!
Beautiful smiles from all, especially Gilbert, Naida, Kevin, Dianne, Judy, New Mu and Mike up the back.
Mavis brought out her pet beetle Ringo 🪲 before Sir Paul McCartney popped out from a Hard Days Night 🥴
Beautiful Bettina at the front loved having a whirl in her wheelchair!🦽
Great singing from ‘cuddly couple in the corner’ , Melissa, Catherine, Evan and Joan.
Marvellous Margaret loved being up front in the spotlight and was keen to be the third M in our show 🤩
After a Twist and Shout and some sing-alongs to end with we were feeling On top of the World looking down on Creation 🎶
And it was time to Hit The Road Jack 🧳
Wonderful participation from staff today-Linda, Tam and Glenda-fab dancing!!! 💃

What a wonderful end to a wintery week! 🥶 but we certainly warmed up on Friday at Ashley Suites in Russley with the Royal Treatment! 👑
Some of the residents looked simply stunning for Pride Month 🏳️‍🌈 and recognising the acceptance of everybody.
On arrival Mavis escorted the Fab Four ladies away from the tele and crochet to our setup! Julie, Anne, Nerolie and Eunice were so happy to see us 🤩🤩🤩🤩
We began with the red carpet and a royal wave 👋 complete with bugle 🎺
After a lovely kingdom dance (masquerade masks on)🎭 and some fun King and Queen facts we enjoyed singing along to our favourites. King Warwick was the star singer 🎤 and crowned for the day. Dancing Queen was beautiful Lena who had a whirl in the wheelchair 😊
Everyone donned a lovely hat 🎩 👒 because Queen Elizabeth II owned over 5000! This brought out beautiful smiles from Lovely Lindsay, Marvellous Merle, Beautiful Betty and Not Plain Jane.
Noel had lots of information to share, and we ended with some great sing alongs like Dancing Queen and Its a long Way to Tipperary-Mavis even had to get the measuring tape to find out how far….
Lady Lacey had a lot to say today 🐶 and perhaps was trying to sing along 😆

This week we met new friends at George Manning Lifecare & Village in Spreydon!
A wonderful array of residents who were ready for some Jive! 💃

Best singer of the day was Wai-o-terangi 🎤 and Carl and Brian up the front.

Sir Paul at the back gave us a marvellous memory of when he attended a Beatles concert and got to go up on stage!! 😮
Great singing from Graham, Lovely Lynne, Joan, ‘Pinkie’ and Mary.
Lots of fun with doggie Lacey who enjoyed pats and crumbs! And King Arthur who enjoyed a cuddle with Lacey and told us he had owned 30 schnauzer dogs!!
So much fun, thanks to all the lovely staff, we hope to come back again and share the fun, laughs and music!

A Fun Friday giving The Royal Treatment to our lovely residents at The Lakehouse, Burlington.
We began with a red carpet and a royal wave 👋 complete with bugle. 🎺
After the Kingdom dance it was time for coronation-but not Coronation St!
Hats hats hats! Trying on hats is always fun as the Queen Elizabeth II owned 5000!! 👒 David, Dennis, Hamish and new friend Patricia took a shine to their hat. A beautiful version of When You’re Smiling by dish Bradley Walsh was lovely and a great sing-along which Doreen and Gloria always love ❤️
Lots of dancing by everyone today! Even all of the Dancing Queens! 👑 All the staff plus Hillary, Glorious Gloria, Yvonne and Jiving Jocelyn 💃
A happy birthday to lovely John Winter in winter! ❄️
New friends Diana, Glenda and Margaret enjoyed our music 🎶 also beautiful Jill.
We enjoyed a lovely story about the Frog Prince-and then the frog turned into Martin! 🐸

🤩🤩 Spectacular Summerset on Cavendish yesterday, meeting lots of beautiful new friends 💕
We rocked around the clock with a fun ‘Alive and Jive’
We began with some Elvis, Twist and Shout and the Hand Jive to help our brains with pattern and rhythm! Lovely participation from Cheryl, Not-sleepy-Jean, Colleen, Anne, Richard and Lester. And Run-around-Sue in the middle had lots of fun singing.
Mavis had a pet Beetle called Ringo and then along came Sir Paul McCartney who looked like he had a Hard Days Night! 🎸
Cheeky and chatty Jenny up the front was very giggly and loved the show throughout 😁
A fun drive in movie 🍿 🥤 with Saturday Night at the Movies and some of us started to have a fun boogie-including Mr Cheeky Man playing pool in the next room who had to see what all the laughter was about 😉
👑 Kevin was crowned King of Rock n Roll as we Hit the Road Jack and ended with Do Run Run.
So much fun and laughter from all of us including Judge Judy, Wonderful Wendy and Stunning Sandra.

🌸 A special Mothers Day with our friends at the Lakehouse, Burlington on Monday afternoon.
I Want my Mama! was the song/dance to begin with, then into some dusting, mopping and changing the baby! Lynne and David were left looking after the baby 👶
We shared a special Mothers Day poem to recognise all the special Mums. This was enjoyed by Doreen, Yvonne and Hillary. A lovely sing along to end with, You Are my Sunshine and Mumma Mia were popular ❤️
A hand massage to pamper the ladies with hand cream was relaxing.
Mavis and Myrtle then enjoyed a beautiful high tea ☕️ with residents and families. We also had a chance to meet new friends John, Rob and Glenda.

A Marvellous Mother’s Day Monday at Radius St Allisa ❤️
We began with sharing photos of our own Mums and our children, and the importance of Mums in our lives.
Because we all want our Mum when we are upset, we started with fun song I Want my Mama. This followed with changing the baby, dusting and mopping and washing the shirts (because a girls work is never done).
Beautiful smiles from Kevin, also Evan-who was left holding the baby! After a fun Mexican wave, we danced to Sherry 🍷 and upbeat song Chocolate 🍫 which had a couple of the staff dancing 💃
A fun sing along of ABBA’s Mamma Mia to end with, and ‘abfab’ singing by Melissa, Dianne and Judy 🎤 plus down the back amazing Yvonne 😊
Cheeky and chatty Naida got the giggles and loved the show throughout 😊
All our lovely ladies enjoyed a hand moisturise massage as a special pamper 💕

🌸 Celebrating all of the Mums on Friday at The Russley Village for Mothers Day
The room looked beautifully decorated-well done staff ❤️ and Mavis & Myrtle brought the music, dance and fun.
Nancy and Barbara up the front enjoyed singing along to You Are my Sunshine, aswell as Warwick who had lots of hugs and love to share with his singing 😊
After we read a story on Mothers Chair, changed the baby and did the cleaning (a girls work is never done) we enjoyed the good things mums deserve like Chocolate and Sherry!
A beautiful poem about My Mothers Hands was shared and a special hand massage with hand cream for all the ladies 💕
This was most enjoyed by Julie, Lena, Anne, Eunice and Nerolie.
Beautiful smiles from Eng, Lindsay and our darling friend Jan from Burlington.
