In this fun and interactive two-day workshop, we will be exploring the versatility of the linocut medium for relief printing. A strong focus will be on your own personal development of imagery and creative mark making processes.

How to carve the block, ink up, layer colour, and print using a variety of methods will be covered.

We will be based at my art studio in Sumner. With small class numbers, you can get the support, attention, and guidance you require. This workshop is suitable for beginners or those with some experience.

Cost: $320 including materials – Payment required to confirm your booking. Minimum of 4 people required for course to run – Maximum of 6 participants.

If you have always wanted to try nature journaling or want to kick start your drawing skills, this may be the course for you.

From my studio here in Sumner, Christchurch, we will be developing your base drawing skills and will be drawing inspiration from botanical specimens, shells, and other subject matter from nature, if the weather is good, we will be sketching in the field.

This class is limited to 5 students, so you can get the guidance and help you require. Cost $280 for 2 days.
