If you have always wanted to try nature journaling or want to kick start your drawing skills, this may be the course for you.

From my studio here in Sumner, Christchurch, we will be developing your base drawing skills and will be drawing inspiration from botanical specimens, shells, and other subject matter from nature, if the weather is good, we will be sketching in the field.

This class is limited to 5 students, so you can get the guidance and help you require. Cost $280 for 2 days.

This fun and informative book by the talented author Ellen Rykers follows the antics of the annual Forest and Bird competition for "Bird of the Year." Beautifully Illustrated by many fabulous bird artists from NZ, it is well worth the read. You may even spot some illustrations by me :)
