Our story

Mackenzie Performing Arts is a ‘not-for-profit’ organisation that aims to foster, encourage, promote and develop the ‘Arts’ across the rural Mackenzie and Upper Waitaki region.

MPA includes the following:


  • MPA Academy (children aged year 4-year 13)- ‘performance’ based group classes (e.g. drama, musical theatre, dance, public speaking, music technology including radio producing and voice over work, singing 1:1 tuition, instrument tuition).

  • Annual community musical productions (adult & children)
