South Auckland Choral

South Auckland Choral We are an active group and are always seeking new vocalists to join us, especially men. Weekly rehearsals on Tuesdays and termly concerts.

Our performances range from classical oratorios and popular classics to more contemporary compositions.

Two beautiful concerts last weekend! Thank you, Pakuranga Choral and David Hamilton, for the opportunity to join you for the Messiah, with wonderful soloists Antonia Brightwell, Brittany Osborne, Hamish Reagan, Blake Scanlen, Jake Krishnamurti, and accompanist Michael Bell. Both venues were full, and we could see lots of happy faces after the concerts.

After a well-attended AGM that included the approval of our new constitution, Margaret Gane, our amazing (retiring) secretary, was awarded a life membership. The flowers came first... and the certificate followed a couple of weeks later. Thank you for all your hard work over the years, Margaret, and have a well-deserved rest!
