We knew we had a killer show, but you can never predict the audience turnout. Wellington showed up for us over the weekend with full audiences!!! It has given us hope that we are on the right track. People will support a Tap Show if it is done in the right way.
We want to firstly thank all the Tap Dancers that have stuck by us and believed in our visions for the artform. It takes guts and forward thinking to stand by a team that is trying to push the creative boundaries everyday.
A very special thank you to our collaborators representing Breaking, Popping and Lindy Hop. Having you involved was an incredible experience and thank you for bringing your cultures to the stage with us.

We did it team! We made history over the weekend in bringing the first Tap Show to the Wellington Fringe. Tap NZ is just getting started and we will continue to push for greater representation in Tap Dance with innovative works that truly push the boundaries πͺ
