Give me well-loved pets to paint any day 🎨

This handsome trio are Anderson, Elliot, and Oakley! 🐐

I had such a blast painting these three, seeing their unique personalities and markings and bringing them to life. My absolutely amazing client gave me heaps of creative freedom with this portrait, I loved being able to paint how I envisioned them! 💕
sadly the gorgeous grey boy Oakley has crossed the rainbow bridge, which made this piece all the more special 🩷

I have so much respect for fantastic painters like Bob Ross. This was my first attempt at following along with one of his tutorials and OMG was it harder than I thought it would be!

There’s a few things I would change if I were spending more time on this kind of painting, but the challenge was to follow along and work as quickly as possible. Overall, I like the result - it feels more loose and expressive than my usual style 🎨 I’ll definitely be trying another tutorial sometime 💕

I always love painting classic pets, but I also really enjoy when I have the opportunity to paint more and different animals too 🎨 so I was stoked to have donkey subjects! Look at those ears
