Born Racer: The Scott Dixon Story Premiere did not disappoint. It gave us a rare insight into the behind the scenes extraordinary effort it takes to get one man on the track and ready to win. Scott Dixon is revealed as an all-time racing legend and the movie had you on the edge of your seat as his car hauled around the track at terrifying speeds. From a pit stop view the cars go past so fast they are a blur, from inside the car reaction times were described as, 'if you had to think about it it's too late'. It was also fantastic to get a rare chance to see how his family cope with having there man go to work every time with the knowledge he might not be coming home. Scott’s gorgeous wife, a previous Olympic track runner is only able to push it to the back of her mind as she understands the drive to be the best and instead helps Scott focus on being the best to keep him safe. You can see she's mentally in the car beside him pushing for every turn, for every second. I'm left in awe of the families dedication and love for their champion. It's a hard game and although it may have been nice to have had more about his win this year making him a 5 time Indy Car Champ. I didn't need that as I personally was in my lounge gritting my fists a few months ago watching him do it live. The movie just makes that victory so much more that I could have ever imaged until now....
