Awesome to see interest if we were to do a reunion show, the idea was thrown out last night and we will definitely be making contact with the girls very soon.

to the original boy dancer (some might say the largest stripper ) of Krd, Macau Jonsin.
Originally part of the floor staff at Finale when it opened in 2003, Macau also designed and controlled the Lighting for the shows.
He joined the cast on stage at the end of 2003 along side Davina with hits like Grease, Love Shack, Poi e, don’t go breaking my heart and so much more. Macau took over as main choreographer from 2007-2012 with more hits like I got a feeling, groove is in the heart and so much more.
In 2012 when Finale closed the doors, along with his partner in crime Arlana they started Limelight Cabaret as a part time travelling show, and helped many queens who work the scene today find a place to tap their heels until they were ready to move on. Macau still hosts Limelight Cabaret along side the wonderful Miss Ribena and you can see the new showgirls and shows at www.mylimelight.co.nz.
Macau Johnson-Hadley is also part of the commentary team at Western Springs Speedway, Last year in 12 meetings 102,000 people walk through the gates, and thousands more streamed live the racing from around the world. This year the show will start in America to millions as an audience on speed shift TV, he also part time hosts for The Pits Media TV Show which airs on Maori Tv on Saturday afternoons and this year will also stream to the United States.
Macau has always had a love for Open wheel Speedway and Drag artists and is happy to still be in the game doing both ........ for now.

When it comes to the "Rore" (KRD) the 90s and early 2000s, there is one Queen that you will never miss, (known for the best right hook in town) Our Queen Davina Douch'e lead the pack from Legends Nightclub, Caluzzi and then Finale.
Davina was the theater Girl, from Aretha to Chita Rivera and Blanche's City Lights, She was always stunning to watch and learn from, another loss to Australia that we havent asked back! Davina still likes to do the odd function or Best Friends Wedding.

Backstage was always a fun time at Finale, Even through all the mayhem, loose lips and lashes, laughter was always the main ingredient, and in 2007 so was the mirror selfie!
The stories that Venus and Felisha always had was well worth the pain, Sticky tape, a bottle and heavy duty stapler were always your best friend in times of need.
Ps IF Felisha never found anything in time, you would ask "Where was it Queen" A Hanging up.
