Received a special order from a lovely medical student.

She wanted to thank her Korean professor for his dedication to teaching through my calligraphy — one with printed Korean texts, another without so that she can hand write the texts.

It was an honour to help express her gratitude in such a personal way.

Moments like these remind me why I love what I do.

Standard Chinese Calligraphy and Bible Calligraphy classes are $25 per person for pen or $35 per person for brush. Bundle options are available.

Hi, I’m Oscar from Oscar Ink Studio in Auckland! Writing Chinese calligraphy helps me find calm and nurture my soul. It’s like a mini-vacation for my mind—plus, it keeps me feeling youthful! 🌿✍️

The calligraphy in the photo is my rewrite of Wen Zhengming’s (文徵明) Lanting Xu (蘭亭序). Wen created many copies of Lanting Xu throughout his life. The version I rewrote was written by him at the age of 89.

Some of our greatest calligraphers lived remarkably long lives, and I personally believe calligraphy is one of the reasons.

☘️現在為教會提供書法聖經課程，透過書寫聖經章節或句語，以助弟兄姊妹以書法藝術及手寫禱告，與主建立更親密的關係，同時傳承中華文化。

為慶祝主耶穌復活救贖世人，及推廣書法聖經的得著，Oscar Ink Studio 將於4月及5月期間，為奧克蘭地區的教會提供一堂免費聖經章節書法課程（約1小時，硬筆書法，適合初學者）。有興趣參與的教會朋友，歡迎隨時聯絡查詢。

We are now offering calligraphy Bible courses for churches, helping fellow Christians build a closer relationship with God through writing Bible verses, engaging in calligraphy art, and handwritten prayers, while also preserving Chinese culture.

To celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ and promote the benefits of Bible calligraphy, Oscar Ink Studio will provide a free Bible verse calligraphy course (approximately 1 hour, using hard-pen calligraphy, suitable for beginners) for churches in the Auckland area during April and May. Interested church friends are welcome to contact us for inquiries.
