Gareth Thomas - Solo Show in Akaroa
Lounge Productions is excited to be hosting New Zealand’s own Gareth Thomas - musician, songwriter and producer. Gareth is touring the South Island during April to celebrate his new single ‘Let It!’ which will be released on the 17th April.
Gareth first hit the NZ music scene as a member of the indie pop band ‘Goodshirt’ and wrote their hit single ‘Sophie’ which reached No.1 on the NZ Singles Chart. He has continued to write and produce music and to collaborate with other artists including Amelia Murray from Fazerdaze.
Gareth will be joined onstage by some special guest performers.
Lounge Productions will be hosting Gareth at Barrys Bay House, their home of intimate live music events. Guests are invited to come early to mingle and chat and there will be an opportunity to purchase vinyl and CD’s directly from Gareth.
Gates open at 4.45pm
Concert starts at 5.30pm sharp
The event is BYO - bring whatever you like to drink and whatever you like to drink out of. We have a zero-waste policy at Barry Bay House - please take home all your empties & rubbish. We encourage you to arrive when gates open and settle in with a picnic and whatever you like to drink. Bring a rug or picnic blanket and warm clothes as this will be an outdoor event - weather permitting.
No gate sales. Tickets are strictly limited so book early to avoid missing out. Spread the word to friends and family. The more you support these events the more world class acts we can bring to you and help build a community of music and arts loving folk.
