I truly appreciate your support and for following this page! Ishan Pariyar is a renowned visual artist from Nepal, recognized for his exceptional contributions to contemporary Nepali art. He holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Painting from Tribhuvan University, one of Nepal’s leading institutions for fine arts education. In 2017, he was honored with the National Award for Painting by the

Nepal Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), acknowledging his excellence and creative impact in the field of Nepalese fine art. Since 2006, Ishan has been actively involved in national and international art exhibitions, workshops, and creative collaborations, showcasing the rich cultural and artistic heritage of Nepal through his paintings. His works reflect deep connections to Nepali society, culture, and identity, establishing him as one of the prominent names among contemporary artists in Nepal.

The World of Existence ii by Ishan Pariyar
A self-referential composition reflecting on the fragility of cultural identity in the Kathmandu Valley. The central figure holds broken bricks, suggesting erosion and loss, while the presence of Majipa Lakhey introduces a connection to living tradition. A guardian-like figure within a boat appears as a symbol of protection and continuity. Set against a textured blue surface, the work conveys a sense of movement and uncertainty, where memory, responsibility, and cultural presence remain in flux.
