Meet Heloise, Unison's conductor. French-Italian opera singer and conductor. PhD in artistic research from the University of Stavanger — official as of a couple of weeks ago (!). Warm, fun, and allergic to the idea that being demanding means being unkind. She'll get the best out of you, and you'll both have a great time doing it.

Meet Amy, Unison's chair(wo)man.
Miamian with Caribbean spice, and very British about it. Physically incapable of having fewer than three projects on the go. Gets dangerously bored otherwise, which is exactly how this choir got started. Funny, kind, absolutely the one you can count on to say the thing. Karaoke jam: What's Up by 4 Non Blondes. She means every word.

Someone had to start it. Turns out it was us.

Meet Amy, Gloria, Dora, and Melanie. One mezzo, three sopranos, and a completely unreasonable amount of group chat messages. We've been building Unison Choir from scratch, and honestly, we've loved every chaotic minute of it.

Auditions are next week, Tuesday and Thursday, and we have been looking forward to this moment for a long time. If you've signed up, we are so excited to meet you. ❤️

You can sing. We're looking for you.

Unison is Stavanger's new English-language auditioned choir, and we're holding auditions on 16 + 18 June. Female and male voices welcome.

Sign up at unisonchoir.no/auditions. Slots are limited.

Rehearsals start 20 August. First concert 3 December.
