I got to produce the end-credits song for the motion picture «North» by Bente Lohne. Grateful that the composer gave me a call at some point (about that), and that joined the process and became the voice/artist of the song 🍀

This song is special to me. First off it was very fun to make. And easy. The demo felt so nice. But then I spent a year ruining the song and building it back up again. I think it ended up being nice. And it was «fun» to get it into New Music Friday — since this is kinda long and different. It doesn’t really have a chorus. It’s pore like a post chorus and two verses.
Anyways— hope some of you like it. Shout out to my collaborator for letting me bring her into my world that is slightly different than what she normally does. But we both have these One Tree Hill / The OC references.

This was easy to make — but hard to finish. I like it a lot: it’s not a hit that fits right into all those playlists. I am taking a different route towards something more Indietronica.
