O M G. — Just received a sequence when eminent Highness Frida Marida was singing and Hanne Os Wold dancing together with everyone showing up at last night’s ‘Claimed Space / Slow Dance XR’ LIVE in Oslo. The performance (duration ca. 40 min) was simultaneously at two sites: Oslo, Norway — this — and Aavistus Biennial for audiovisual arts & VJ culture 2026, ‘Attention, please!’ in Helsinki + VR, worldwide. About 40+ showed up in Oslo, 60–70 in Helsinki, about 20 users and screenings from online. Thank you so much for being part of this MAGIC …!!!!! 💜🔮

— In Ålesund or nearby tonight?! Torsdagsscene: Karmaklubb* × Abjectified på Mottaket from 19:00!

Context: Following the path from 2025, Karmaklubb* inhabits Ålesund once again, this time during week 40, 28 September–3 October 2026. Besides moving our office to Mottaket, we invite to conversations and presentations during these days — and hopefully contribute to a q***r oriented focus uniting local as well as visiting forces. Look for the green light.
We are open for a chat Tuesday–Saturday, 12:00–17:00 (and most likely till late night). In addition we join a panel at Ytre Kunstfagskole, Monday. And today it's Torsdagsscene with special guest Jens Martin Hartvedt Arvesen aka Brødskive Performance of Abjectified Project. Expect: Briefly about the background of the project (a recap for the ones visiting last year’s talk), the development the last year (incl. work in Latvia, Germany, and Copenhagen) — and the upcoming theatre show at Oslo Nye Teater Centralteatret. Followed by an artist conversation + Q&A. Feel free to stay and talk with us! There will be flowers and snacks (liquid and crispy). And yes, there will most likely be elements of Drag.
After we follow the tradition and walk to Molo Brew.

Welcome!

— This weekend we proudly joined Grenland Pride and eminent Family 💜 We cannot take much credit for the programming, that said it was a pleasure playing two nights in a row. DJ Baby D**e is happy.

Thank you so much for having us!!!
Thank you for doing what you do in Skien, Porsgrunn and beyond!
Sondre Alice Moland & Michelle Moland, Sif and the rest of the Skæiv machinery.

To fellow partner in Joy playing music Saturday night — once again — Lili-Andro Bergum Horverak aka Alphadiva 🎛️ And not to mention the others on stage — WHAT A SHOW …! .plant .florence 🔥 – and later on: .no — and earlier (find them all at IG).
To cute and skilled tech Sondre Ælvespeilet Kulturhus, Porsgrunn. Supporting O'Learys Skien for hosting the market and mingle on Friday! Fellow stallers! Everyone being there (or wanting to be so).

Already looking forward to what’s to come … 🔮

— The first glimpses from last weekends trip up north: To Open Out 2026 'Dreaming in the dark', and 'Poster JOY'! Many new friends from Tromsø / Romssa and way beyond — thank you, everyone for joining, drawing, printing, spending colourful hours around the wooden table with us.

And: Thank you, once again, amazing wizards of Open Out. YOU ARE MAGNIFICENT — creating Magic in the north.

Thank you, Tromsø Kunstforening for hosting!
The ones making food and coffee, rigging, cleaning, promoting, DJing, bartendering, making sure we were all 'good'.

This was a gift, and we returned happy with backpack and pockets filled with clover ...

Love and gratitude,
Karmaklubb*

— What is 'Poster JOY'?! A q***r artist culture network for Norway/Sápmi (established in 2025) that works with analog poster production and distribution. However, the project do not have national limits: It is nomadic and can appear at exhibition venues, far away in the forest if necessary, or festivals — such as this one. 'Poster JOY' is a platform that brings together q***r, trans, and non-binary people. Allies are very welcome! Explore the magic portable printhouse of 'Poster JOY', and meet other beautiful beings. No pre-skills required. Allow time to explore the tools of the printhouse during several hours, make your own printed gems, and share them with the world after.

— NIGHT GREETING FROM THE SOUTH: Last week, Skeive Sørlandsdager took place in Kristiansand.

Thank you, Frida Marida with Ahmad Alak and Dag Henning Kalvøy
for the beautiful and intimate concert at Kilden Teater / Kilden teater og konserthus last Friday. Both warming, funny, and respectful.
Saturday afternoon, Kilden kept open for the memorial ceremony and Pride gathering: Introduction by Harald Furre (Kilden) with speeches by Mary Ann Skretteberg Warenius from UiA - Senter for likestilling + the newly launched QiA — Skeiv forskning Agder / Q***r Research Agder and Nils Hallvard Korsvoll from Skeive Sørlandsdager / FRI Agder.
Followed by a DJ set by yours truly, DJ Baby D**e, pres. by Karmaklubb*.

Ode to everyone involved and showing up (and spreading the word) for making such a fine weekend, despite the situation; Drag På Sørlandet being highly represented; to BLIKK for covering the programme; Liam Eric Bula for documenting for Skeive Sørlandsdager; Fredrik Borgen Jakobsen (from now on: Guru Fredrik), Clayton, Ørjan Wremer, Shane Burke, Daniel Stamnes, and rest of the machinery at Kilden for the backup. Kudos to Gabriela Melo Larsen, always.

And of course: Thank you, Skeive Sørlandsdager and Nils Hallvard Korsvoll for the important work!

Kudos to Barrikaden and Roy Hægeland & Co. for the evening programme.

Find a beautiful feature on Saturday in BLIKK by Nora Kirkvold Sæter here: https://www.blikk.no/barrikaden-drag-kilden/alternativ-pride-markering-i-kristiansand-tror-kong-harald-ville-ha-heia-pa-dette/303798
