Yesterday at Aftershock Festival was a lot of fun! We played to a super loud and energetic audience just as the sun was starting to set, meaning the evening was free for leisure and a swally. 🍻

Playing in the daylight really shows off my lovely artist bass by Schecter Guitar Research. Get one for yourself via the link in the comments!

Two shows down, and it's been an excellent start to the tour! Great crowds in both San Diego and Phoenix.

Next up is Aftershock fest.

This view of LA made me think of Sarah Connor's dream in Terminator 2. Thankfully I was having a much nicer time than she does.

I saw lizards galore on this hike around Stough Canyon Park, plus a few other creatures that were a bit too flighty or far off to get pictures of. For example, there was a pair of red-tailed hawks, which I was able to identify later because one of them did the classic 'Hollywood Eagle Screech' - it was my girlfriend who told me that call isn't actually an eagle!

You'd be forgiven for thinking I was on holiday, but this is simply a day off after an intense couple of days' work with Cradle. The first actual show of the tour is tomorrow in San Diego.

A busy day of packing and recording before saying my farewells and heading off to the airport, bound for a lengthy North American tour with Cradle of Filth.

Time to set the six string aside, beautiful though it is, and get back into bass mode!

We've got a cracking set lined up, with a healthy smattering of tracks from 'Dusk and Her Embrace' to celebrate the album's 30th anniversary. This will be our last tour of the year, so let's make it count!

Progress has been positively glacial on the debut Fit to Work album, but as of today, Duncan has finished recording all his bass parts. Just a touch of guitars and vocals left to go now!

Eleven fresh tracks of hardcore vitriol, coming your way. 💋
