- a tiiiiiny Holly Blue butterfly, and a
- Mourning Cloak butterfly (apparently they're one of the longest living species of butterfly - ca. 10 months! - and even have the ability to play dead!)

PS. My name means butterfly 🦋 but I'm equally obsessed (if not more) with moths 😏

It fascinates me how much spring masquerades as autumn with its reddish and muted hues that creep in amidst all the bright greens, yellows, pinks and purples. The liminality of Bealtaine and Samhain (each other's opposites) is very strong and I guess it shows that those burnt and warm reddish tones are both the fires sparking life and the fires that burn away 🤎 🍁 🌱
