4H Troms skal arrangere leir for 4H-erne på Nordkalotten og inviterer 4H-ere i Nordland, Troms, Finnmark og 4H i Apatity, 4H i Norbotten len i Sverige og Lapland’s 4H i Finland til Nordkalottleir i Manndalen i Kåfjord kommune 24-29. Ca 500 4H-ungdommer møtes her for å etablere kontakt på tvers av grensene gjennom kulturutveksling, friluftsliv, turer og aktiviteter, samt workshops med t
emaer som miljø, demokrati og urfolk. Målet er å styrke identitetsfølelsen mellom 4H-erne Barentsregionen, og å bidra til engasjement og bevissthet rundt demokrati, toleranse, urfolk og miljøvern/ bærekraftig utvikling. june 2012.
4H Troms will host and arrange a camp for 4H-members in North Calotte area and invites 4H-members in Nordland, Troms, Finnmark and 4H in Apatity, 4H in Norbotten County in Sweden and Lapland's 4H in Finland to North Calotte camp in Manndalen in Kåfjord 24-29. About 500 4H-members will meet here to establish contact across borders through cultural exchange, recreation, tours and activities, as well as workshops on topics such as environment, democracy and indigenous peoples. The goal is to strengthen the sense of identity between the 4H-members in the Barents region and to promote involvement and awareness of democracy, tolerance, indigenous people and environmental / sustainable development.
