The glaciers of Norway
Did you know that some of Europe’s larges ice-caps are found in Norway? You may climb them, hike them, marvel at them- even ski on them in the middle of the summer. Among our most popular glaciers are the Folgefonna, Jostedalsbreen and Hardangerjøkulen. As there are around 1600 glaciers in Norway, glaciers can be visited from many places. At first sight, you can’t fail to feel the massive untameable power inherent in the glaciers.

Tromsø during winter
Northern Norway is among the best and the most exciting places in the world to see the northern light. For the locals, the northern lights are a part of daily life, and an inspiration for art, mythology and legends. For others, it is an example of how beautiful science may be. Although not possible to see the northern light during summer, it’s a great location for seeing the midnight sun.

Preikestolen
The most famous tourist attraction in Ryfylke, towers an impressive 604 metres over the Lysefjord. Preikestolen har been named one of the world’s most spectacular viewing points by both CNN Og and Lonely Planet. Looking out over the Lysefjord from Preikestolen is an experience of a lifetime. We recommend combining the hike with a fjord cruise.

Cycling the Rallar road from Finse to Flåm
The Rallar road is an old construction road made for the building of the Bergensbane railway. The cycling roads starts at Finse at 1222 (meter high), and ends in Flåm with the Sognefjord. The road is 80 km long, and on the tour, you can see some of the best scenery Norway has to offer. At the starting point at Finse, one can see the Hardangerjøkulen glacier. The adventure doesn’t need to end in Flåm, as this is a great starting point for a boat trip in the Sognefjord.

Hi, A new book in English has just been published on Amazon: "A Frenchie on the St. Olav way". The author recounts his 643 km walk from Oslo to Trondheim on the Gudbrandsdalsleden day by day. He writes with amusement about his observations on the habits of the Norwegians and notes the differences they observe with southern Europeans. The author has also inserted, as his discoveries progressed, chapters devoted to the Viking civilisation, which remains for the French a little-known period in European history. As he writes in the book "Starting from Oslo, I had no idea that this long hike was going to open the doors to an exciting adventure".
