⚠️ Important information from Ullensvang Municipality
Skjeggedalsvegen (from P1 Tyssedal to P2 Skjeggedal) is now closed to all traffic until Sunday 7 June, subject to possible changes related to work progress and rainfall during the period.

This is the only road to Trolltunga.
The road is planned to reopen on Monday 8 June.

The closure is due to new rockslide incidents near the tunnel and in the Lonene area, approximately 300 metres from the tunnel towards Skjeggedal.

🚧 Rockslide protection work is ongoing in the area, and it is extremely important that NO persons enter the construction area.

We apologise for the inconvenience this causes and warmly welcome everyone back to Trolltunga when the road reopens.

⚠️ Viktig informasjon fra Ullensvang kommune
Skjeggedalsvegen (fra P1 Tyssedal til P2 Skjeggedal) er nå stengt for all trafikk til og med søndag 7. juni, med forbehold om endringer knyttet til fremdrift i arbeidet og nedbørsmengder i perioden.

Dette er den eneste veien til Trolltunga.
Det er planlagt åpning av veien mandag 8. juni.

Stengingen skyldes nye rashendelser ved tunnelen og på strekningen ved Lonene, ca. 300 meter fra tunnelen i retning Skjeggedal.

🚧 Rassikringsarbeid pågår i området, og det er svært viktig at INGEN personer beveger seg inn i anleggsområdet.

Vi beklager ulempene dette medfører og ønsker alle hjertelig velkommen til Trolltunga når veien åpner igjen.

⚠️ 13 May 2026: Skjeggedalsvegen (P1 Tyssedal – P2 Skjeggedal) is closed to all traffic until further notice.

This is due to rockfall incidents near the tunnel and unstable sections that may still collapse. Skjeggedalsvegen is the only road access to Trolltunga.

New information will be provided next week.

We apologise for the inconvenience this causes and warmly welcome everyone back to Trolltunga when the road reopens.

Important. We will officially be closed tomorrow due to snow and ice cover, impacting the road between P2 and P3. Therefore both P3 parking and shuttle service between Skjeggedal and Mågelitopp WILL BE CLOSED.

My oh my! The weather next week is looking pretty good for September! So, therefore we will open prebooking for shuttle bus and also P3 parking for another week, untill 22nd of September. Get tickets and secure your spot now so you do not have to queue up early in the morning! www,trolltunganorway.com.

Hi,
Because of the Extreme weather forecasted tomorrow, we unfortunately will have to close both P3 and the shuttle bus service. If you already have a ticket for tomorrow you can use the same ticket over the next coming days, including Sunday.

If you are unable to change to later this week, you can send us an email and we will refund you the ticket for tomorrow.

Very sorry and hope you will have the opportunity to come back another day!

Hi all! From next week, 25th-30th of September, we will close ticket booth at 10 AM instead of 11. So, purchase ticket for P3 will be between 07:00 AM and 10:00 AM, 24th-30th of Sept.

This is also the window to access the P3 parking. After 1000 it is not possible.

Hi everyone!
Shuttle bus will continue its daily operations untill September 24th. You can prebook tickets untill and including the 17th of September. Between 18th and 24th of September, tickets for shuttle bus are purchased in Skjeggedal upon arrival only.
