Every year, at the end of the summer, we gather to create something truly special together at the grounds of 💜 Het Grote Fijne festival is a bubble of love, connection, celebration, playfulness and belonging. A place where we dance, sing, breathe, explore, play and just be! Where our hearts open even more, and we remember who we are beneath the noise of everyday life.

For a few days, we step into a different rhythm. One that invites us to slow down, connect more deeply, and celebrate life in all its colours🌸

After all the conversations we’ve all had about ceremonial cacao lately we felt like sharing this moment with you🤍 a small glimpse of a cacao ceremony at Het Grote Fijne festival.

And for everyone that hasn’t experienced one yet, here’s what it feels like…. a cacao ceremony is also about what happens when we gather with intention. When we sit together in circle, fully present, without rushing anywhere else, and something in us starts to settle. Something deepens a little, and the world outside feels further away, because something closer starts to matter more.

Connection takes its place almost quietly. Music doesn’t just play, it wraps itself around the moment. And when voices join in, something even older stirs, because our body remembers singing together even when our heads are trying to catch up. Silence feels full instead of empty, and even the smallest interactions carry a softness, like people are remembering each other without needing to know how.

These moments maybe aren’t meant to be understood with the mind, but meant to be felt, shared and gently carried home🤍

Wow… it’s so so beautiful to see this video again💜 to truly experience what this song is about all over again. Not just hearing it, but really feeling it, TOGETHERNESS. That moment where everyone melts into the same heartbeat, the same breath, the same song.

When you look around, do you also feel so much gratitude for the expression of all the authentic people who make life a little more special? We certainly do! 💜🌀🌻
And it’s such a joy to see these beautiful photos again! It truly warms our hearts to see all these people gather and celebrate life together at one of our favo places Landgoed Energy Up in Zeewolde!

It’s only a little wait before we can gather again for Het Grote Fijne 2026 and experience the magic that we create together! We are already looking forward to the ecstatic dance, sound healings, and all the conscious workshops that bring us closer. Or to just relax in the wellness area with saunas and hot tubs, or melt into the heart-opening singing circles, we can’t wait to connect again!

Somewhere between the dancing, the workshops and the conversations, it happens. Someone sees you. Not because you’re doing something special, but because you are there there. Because you dare to be present💜

We see this happen over and over at the festival. On the dancefloor where you feel your body and someone feels it with you. In the workshop where you share something someone recognizes themselves in what you share. They get it.

This is why people come back. It’s not just what you experience, it’s who you are with others.

It’s being seen.
It’s seeing.

Faisal Salah, also known as FaceSoul, is a London-based Somali artist born in East Africa. From a young age, Faisal showed a passion for music, combining his love for singing, poetry, and storytelling as an escape from the challenges of inner-city living. At 19, he went on a journey around the world, using his voice to connect with diverse communities and share his story.

Looking back on these moments with so much joy!💜🌞 We love that no two festival days at Het Grote Fijne festival ever look the same for anyone. It could be that you find yourself spending hours dancing, or moving between all inspiring workshops and live music sessions. Getting cozy in our lounge or spending your afternoon in the sauna and hottubs! Or simply prioritizing plenty of deep rest with a quiet walk in the nearby forest followed by a refreshing swim in the lake!

That freedom to completely choose how you spend your time (with sometimes maybe a little FOMO)😌 and just do whatever feels exactly right for you in any given moment is the true heart of the experience, and it is exactly the kind of flow we are keeping front and center as we build the new program for our next edition happening 25-30 August💜✨
