A little info about my artist profile La Vero:
La Vero was born on July 28th, 1982 in Eindhoven. I'm using my nickname "Vero"
and using the French article for female "LA" to create a name for my modeling & singing. La Vero....... makes sense, right? My intire childhood I practiced ice figure skating, classical ballet and gymnastics. I was one of the first kids from: "Kids on ice" and skated in solo competitions. I participated the shows with "Kids on ice" for 4 years. We skated in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. Next to skating I studied music, played the violin for 7 years and studied opera, musicals, jazz and blues (singing). As I grew older I was accepted to the conservatorium and also to the school for performing arts in 1998.
3 times finalist - song talent of Europe. I've been offered a position with the international musical Hair from Joop vd Ende. Solo: Frank Mils. Studio singer - back vocals with Iwan vd Reus (Amsterdam) which
I had to quit because of health issues. I've been a model and dancer since I was 17. By the age of 21 I was a "Bunny" and
a GoGo-dancer from 1999 till 2005 with
Dark raver-Charly Lownoise and Mental Theo-DJ Juan-Sensation White. Also skilled at salsa, showdance, jazz ballet, burlesque, pole-dancing, belly dancing and stage-fighting. I was a presenter and actress on TV and radio until I was 25. I trained for 8 months to sing/act/dance in a revue show.
24 shows in November and December 2008. Unfortunately afterwards I had to get to a major surgery again. It took me almost 2 years to recover. Then my life changed... I discovered METAL!!! I started to work at Dynamo as bar-, ticket-, and door-bitch for 2 years. (volunteer)
I also did backstage management at Dynamo-Eindhoven. Now I'm selling band merch on tour and at festivals as a professional. And lately i wear the title "co-tourmanager" with pride. I always thought that because of the many surgeries I would never sing again...
But I am working with so many great artists and they are motivating me to go for it...

In July 2014, 2015 and 2016 I was in Finland for two weeks, during the Nightwish days/ Kitee international music and art week. To sing with other top vocalists from all over the world, on world wide live broadcasted shows. Singing songs as a tribute to Nightwish...
Also I was part of the Nightwish documentary where I was followed for a year and one of the lead singers in the "To Nightwish with love" group cover song. MUSICAL PROJECTS

Since the beginning I have been involved with the Festival FemME
where I started as merch and promo girl. Nowadays I am working in the backstage providing the services to do the artists' hair and make up. Also I organized the FemME metal battles in Finland-2017. As for MAIDENS OF THE NORTH. That was a all female metal band that was founded by yours truly. A sisterhood of multitalented woman. In this band we are equal....
There is not one front lady, but all with our own element, including the musicians. My element is FIRE. Singing harmonies and solo parts, combined with our singing musicians and fierce orchestra. Unfortunately we had to stop due to multiple factors. My main focus now, it to record the HEAVENQUEEN songs and bring them to the stage ASAP. Also I am part of the ensemble group of a theater production, celebrating the 100 year existing of my hometown Veldhoven : 100 op een hoop
