Between Two Worlds: Moon Jar Coffee Cup Workshop

Between two worlds — Korean and Dutch — emerges a form that does not need to be perfect.

During her solo exhibition Interbeing, Keun Sook Martine invites you into a quiet hand-building workshop inspired by the Korean moon jar.

Through stillness, simplicity, and attentive presence, we will shape a coffee cup by hand — not merely as an object, but as a vessel for spirit, peace, and inner reflection.

This is a workshop for those who wish to slow down, listen to the clay, and place a piece of their soul into form.

No perfection is needed.
Only presence.

Date: 6 June
Time: 11:00–13:30
Location: Zwaanshals 325C, 3033KK Rotterdam

Loneliness is not always about being alone.
Sometimes it is about missing a deeper connection — with your roots, with one another, and with life itself.

I began learning moon jars as a way to reconnect with my roots — to feel, to follow curiosity, and to learn the beauty of imperfection.

During my solo exhibition Interbeing, I explore the space between farewell and belonging, between Korea and the Netherlands, between self and other.

Korean ceramics inspired by softness, imperfection, and presence.

You are warmly invited to slow down, to look, and to meet.
