After reading, re-reading and rewriting our manifest we are heading towards our final expo. We don't have the pictures yet that show proof of our hard work.
(But they're on their way!)

Were you invited to fully experience your Self and everything else? Do you want to engage?

We want to engage - we share the desire to take part in life and feel; know reality through relating to the other. A common meaning crisis evinces; there is a distance between us and our lives, our ego’s and selves, our bodies and minds. In (art) practice, this distance fuels the common conception of art as an isolated space, in which reality is merely a perception of the individual; a separate space, a shadow dancing on the wall. Statements are made, but didn’t we mean to invite you? How do we get to the other other side? How can we reveal our dance? How can we share space, feeling and thought? And first of all - what do we want? ‘Engagement’ is a groups exhibition that has resulted from the close collaboration between Donatas Tretjakovas, Isabelle de Rooij, Jesse Blaauw, Millie Earthy, Marcel Herkelman, notjohn, Tash Tudor, Sachia Peirreira and Simon Coops. Through collective reflection, conversation and experimentation, the artist have come to both personal and collective insights, regarding the question of ‘Engagement’. A collection of visual work that reflects the attempt to get closer to reality - more engaged. We believe that engagement is never the easy route - conflict has played an important role in our process. Rather than aiming at `agreement we have attempted to embrace paradox.

You can visit our exhibition from the 13th till the 17th of July, between 11.00 and 18.00, at the ground floor in het Archief, at the Robert Fruinstraat 52.

Dear dears

We have been busy. Since our opening
we have been rewriting our
manifest. We had extensive talks about our practice,
our proces and our intention.

Upcoming Sunday will be the finissage of our third and
last process-exhibition before our final expo at 'het
archief' from rootfoundation.

We would like to invite you to take a last look at the
inner workings of our process and join us in a
conversation where we want to look back and reflect
on our doings as a collective.

Last thursday we had our first meeting at our Post post office, our actual art-space at .
We discussed our manifesto; it's content but also the 'why'. The conversation was guided and structured by who took the role as moderator. With her help we managed to manifest what we set out to do; an actual conversation.

Maybe you have been involved with Post post at some time. It could have been a workshop about failure, maybe you’ve typed on some of our typewriters. Maybe you visited one of our expo’s, maybe you just quietly following our post’s on instagram.

Upcoming thursday at 14:00 at Paviljoen aan het Water we want to engage with you in conversation. We wonder how Post post looks from the outside!
