Choosing the name was one of the hardest parts.

I spent weeks looking for something that felt right.
Portuguese didn’t communicate the idea to most people here. English felt too generic.
Then I started looking at Dutch words.
Goud Bos means Golden Forest.
Golden Grass doesn’t actually grow in forests, but the name captured exactly what I wanted the brand to feel: nature, elegance and a connection to my Brazilian roots.
Sometimes, the right name isn’t the most literal one.
It’s the one that feels right.

The answer is actually very simple: I’ve always been drawn to things that are a little different—but never extravagant.
I love pieces with character. Pieces that tell a story.
And even today, I find it incredible that something as simple as a plant can be transformed into timeless jewelry by skilled hands.
That’s why I chose it.
Because it reflects everything I love: beauty, authenticity and craftsmanship.

After moving from Brazil to the Netherlands, I found my way back to creativity through Golden Grass — a remarkable Brazilian plant transformed into jewelry by skilled artisans.
Today, every piece carries a little piece of Brazil and a story I’m proud to keep writing.
